Brewers System Report: Games of May 30, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 21-28; National League Central): The Brewers lost 10-4 to the Mets at Miller Park. Rickie Weeks homered twice for the Brewers, but the Mets pulled away late.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 28-21; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 5-3 to the Iowa Cubs. The I-Cubs broke a 3-3 tie with two runs in the top of the eighth inning.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 24-26; Southern League North Division): The Stars beat Birmingham 6-5 in six innings. Brett Lawrie (’09) went 2-for-4 with three runs and drove two RBI. The Barons scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning to tie the game 5-5. Lawrie scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth. Then, it rained and didn't let up until the game was declared finished.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 18-32 overall; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Fort Myers 6-2. Sean Halton (’10) went 3-for-5 with three RBI to back up a solid start by Mike Fiers (’09). Daniel Meadows (’09) pitched the final three innings for the save.
