Boog Powell drew a bases loaded walk to force in the winning run in the top of the thirteenth.

The Foxes trailed 3-0 after three innings. They tied the game with one in the fourth and two in the eighth.

Ten innings of scoreless relief by Dick Hunt, Jim Lehew, George Stepanovich, and Buster Narum allowed the Foxes offense to tied and eventually win the game.

The Foxes are 10-10 in 5th place and 3.5 games behind Sioux City.

The Foxes scored their only run of the game on the only Clinton error of the game.

Kevin Renz got knocked around in 4-1/3 innings to take the loss.

Clinton got a homer in the fourth from Jim Spring for the first run of the game.

The Foxes are 25-14 and trail first place Madison by 1.5 games in the Midwest League's Northern Division.
