MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 40-50; National League Central): The Brewers lost 2-1 at Atlanta. Corey Hart homered in the top of the first for an early lead. But, Dave Bush gave up a pair of solo homers in the bottom of the third and the Braves held on for the win.
NASHVILLE (AAA: 48-43; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds lost 3-1 to Omaha at home.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 45-46 overall; 12-9 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars beat Mississippi 5-4. Huntsville scored a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to break a 4-4 tie. Andre Lamontagne (’10) pitched two scoreless innings for the win. Jim Henderson (’09) pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.
BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 38-51; 11-9 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Charlotte 9-6. Sean Halton (’10) had three hits and three RBI for Brevard County.
HELENA (Rookie: 12-12; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 8-5 to Ogden.
AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 15-5; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers beat the Cubs 12-6.
