Brewers System Report: Games of July 3, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 37-44; National League Central): The Brewers beat the Cardinals 12-5. Rickie Weeks and Jim Edmonds both homered for Milwaukee. Milwaukee built an 11-0 lead for the win at St. Louis.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 44-38; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 3-1 to New Orleans. Nashville had four hits in the game.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 38-44 overall; 5-7 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 7-6 to Chattanooga. The Lookouts were up 7-2 and held off Huntsville.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 31-47; 4-5 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees were rained out at Dunedin.

HELENA (Rookie: 9-4; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 7-6 in 11 innings at Missoula. The Osprey scored twice in the top of the ninth inning to take a 6-5 lead. Helena scored a run in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game, but Missoula got a run in the eleventh for the win.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 9-2; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers beat the Indians 8-0. Eric Arnett (’10) pitched four scoreless innings for the save.
