Brewers System Report: Games of July 4, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 37-45; National League Central): The Brewers lost 7-1 at St. Louis. The Cardinals scored five times in the bottom of the third inning. Yovani Gallardo allowed six runs (one earned) over 2-2/3 innings and took the loss.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 44-38; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds were rained out in Oklahoma City.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 38-45 overall; 5-8 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 6-3 at Tennessee. The Smokies won the game on a two-out, three run homer in the bottom of the ninth.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 31-47; 4-5 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees had their home game with Tampa rained out.

HELENA (Rookie: 10-4; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Missoula 6-4. Greg Hopkins a 24th round pick in the 2010 draft out of St. John’s, hit a homer and drove in three runs for Helena.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 9-2; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers were off on Sunday.
