Brewers System Report: Games of July 5, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 37-46; National League Central): The Brewers lost 6-1 at home to San Francisco. The Giants broke a 1-1 tie with four runs in the seventh inning.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 45-38; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat Oklahoma City 10-5. Joe Koshansky hit a pair of homers to lead Nashville’s offense.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 39-45 overall; 6-8 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars won 3-1 at Tennessee. Amaury Rivas allowed a run on three hits over six innings for the win. Jim Henderson (’09) pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 32-48; 5-6 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees split a doubleheader with Tampa. The Yankees won game one by a 2-1 score in nine innings. Brevard County won game two 4-1 as RJ Seidel (’09) pitched five shutout innings and gave up two hits for the win.

HELENA (Rookie: 10-5; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 8-4 at Missoula. The Osprey scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Helena.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 9-3; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers lost 7-0 to the Giants.
