The score was 19-1 after five innings. Chuck Symeon was the winning pitcher.

Pete Ward, Bob Saverine, and Jim Youngdahl all had four hits for the Foxes.

Fox Cities scored a run in every inning except the sixth.

Youngdahl led the way by going 4-for-5 with five runs scored and four RBI.

The Foxes are 40-23 and still in first place in the Three-I League.

Jim Markert hit a leadoff homer in the top of the second for a 3-0 lead. But, the Foxes could not hold the lead. The Angels scored their runs in the eighth inning for the winning margin in the typical Angels fashion.

The Foxes are 51-28 and their lead over the Madison Muskies in the Northern Division of the Midwest League is down to 8.5 games.
