The Dodgers scored three in the bottom of the eighth inning off Dean Chance to break a 1-1 tie.


Photi Anthony went 3-for-4 and scored the only run for the Foxes. But, it was not enough for Fox Cities. The loss ended the Foxes 10-game road winning streak.


Fox Cities is 41-26 on the season and they lead the Three-I league. Sioux City is in second place four games back of the Foxes.

Jim Filippi pitched eight innings and allowed three hits for the win. Jerry Bertolani, Jim Markert, and Jim Byrd all homered for the Foxes to get the win at Community Field.


The Foxes have won three straight games to run their record to 54-28. They are now 11.5 games up on second place Madison in the Northern Division of the Midwest league.
