GREEN BAY DODGERS 3
FOX CITIES FOXES..6
Bad news for the Foxes in the fourth inning of their game at Goodland Field against the Dodgers. Jim Youngdahl tore ligaments in his knee while batting in the fourth inning. He would miss the rest of the 1960 season.
Pat Gillick got the win and Boog Powell continued to heat up with three more RBI.
The Foxes win moved their record to 42-26. They are still in first place in the Three-I League and 4.5 games up on Sioux City.

FINAL: 12 INNINGS
Nice comebacks by both teams in this one, the final game before the 1985 Midwest League All-Star Break.
The Foxes score their five runs in the seventh inning on...well, a two-run homer by Tom Forrester, a passed ball by Chad Kreuter, and error, and a Kenny Rogers wild pitch. Thomas tripled and scored in the eighth for a 10-8 lead, but the Rangers rallied on a Brad Hill homer in the eighth and an run-scoring error in the ninth.
The Foxes scored their three runs in the twelfth on an RBI double by Mike Taylor, a bases loaded walk, and an RBI grounder. Dave White ended the madness (and the nearly four hour game) with a 1-2-3 bottom of the twelfth.
The Foxes are 54-28 on the season. They are 11.5 games in front of Madison in the Northern Division of the Midwest League.
