TACOMA (AAA: 63-55, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers were off on Thursday.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 60-56, 19-27 4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Huntsville 6-3. Brent Johnson (’05) homered and drove in two runs for West Tennessee. Justin Thomas (’06) got the win in relief.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 52-64, 20-26 second half 5th California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 5-2 at Lake Elsinore. The Storm scored four runs off Jake Wild (’08) in the fifth inning to take a 4-2 lead.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 21-29, 3rd Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox beat Tri-City 2-0. Three Everett pitchers combined on a 4-hit shutout.
PULASKI (Rookie: 30-19, 1st Appalachian League East Division): The M’s beat Johnson City 6-2.
PEORIA (Rookie: 15-23, 6-4 4th Arizona League): The AZL M’s lost 6-0 to the Brewers in a rain-shortened game.
