Milwaukee Brewer Report: Games of April 16, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 3-6; T-5th National League Central): The Brewers were off on Thursday before starting a series in New York against the Mets.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 3-5; 4th Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 17-3 to Oklahoma City. Hernan Iribarren had a triple and an RBI for Nashville, but the RedHawks scored 12 runs in the top of the fifth inning.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 4-4; T-1st Southern League South Division): The Stars beat Mississippi 4-3. Huntsville led 2-0 heading into the top of the ninth, but the Braves scored three times in the top of the ninth. Chris Errecart hit a bases loaded single to drive in a pair of runs for the win in the bottom of the ninth.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 3-4; T-3rd Florida State League East Division): The Manatees shutout Tampa 4-0. Five Brevard County pitchers combined on the five-hit shutout.
