Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of July 16, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 46-43; 2nd National League Central): The Brewers beat the Reds 9-6. Prince Fielder homered and drove in three runs. The Brewers scored five times in the top of the sixth inning to break open a 3-2 game.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 51-40; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 11-4 at Iowa. Nashville had a 4-0 lead until the I-Cubs scored six in the seventh inning and five more in the eighth.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 47-44 overall, 9-13 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 5-4 in 11 innings at Mississippi. Huntsville tied the game with three runs in the top of the ninth inning, but the Braves got the win in the eleventh.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 51-31 overall, 11-7 second half; 1st Florida State League North Division): The Manatees on 4-3 at Clearwater. Brevard County broke a 3-3 tie with a run in the top of the seventh and held on for the win.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 11-11; 3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 4-3 at Idaho Falls. The Chukars scored twice in the bottom of the eighth inning to rally from a 3-2 deficit.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 8-13; 4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers lost 12-0 to the Royals.
