Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of July 31, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 51-52; T-3rd National League Central): The Brewers lost 11-7 at San Diego. Milwaukee scored seven in the second inning and had a 7-1 lead, but could not hold it.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 57-49; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat New Orleans 7-6. Nashville rallied from a 6-3 deficit with a pair of runs in the seventh and a pair of runs in the eighth.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 52-52 overall, 14-21 second half; T-4th Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 4-3 in ten innings at Montgomery.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 60-36 overall, 20-12 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Sarasota 3-2. Dan Merklinger (’09) pitched five shutout innings and allowed two hits with six strikeouts, but got a no decision.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 19-17; T-2nd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Billings 4-2. Nicholas Bucci struck out seven over seven innings and allowed one earned run to run his record to 6-0.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 14-19; 2-3 second half; T-4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers beat the Dodgers 5-3.

man! what happened to the brewers?! they were doin so good and then we got our butts handed to us and havnt really been able to pick up from there! it sucks!
