Brewers System Report: Games of May 17, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 15-23; National League Central): The Brewers lost 6-3 at Cincinnati. The Reds scored five times in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 1-1 tie. Corey Hart homered twice for Milwaukee.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 23-14; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds split a doubleheader with Portland at home. The Beavers won game one 4-3 with a run in the top of the sixth inning. Nashville took game two 2-1 as Chris Waters tossed six shutout innings with six strikeouts.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 18-20; Southern League North Division): The Stars dropped both games of a doubleheader to Tennessee at home. The Smokies won game one 9-2 and held Huntsville to three hits. Tennessee won game two 8-3 by scoring six runs in the top of the sixth to snap a 2-2 tie.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 15-22 overall; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Palm Beach 7-2. Shawn Zarraga (’09) went 3-for-4 with four RBI for Brevard County.
