The game between Quad-Cities and Burlington aired on the MLB Network, one of a series of 11 minor-league games that will be televised during the 2010 season. And that's good for the Midwest League.
It was the only Midwest League game scheduled to air this season on the network that reaches 55 million homes.
"The people watching MLB Network on a Monday morning are baseball fans, and it was great exposure for Modern Woodmen Park and the Quad-Cities," Goodman said. "We had a chance to show the country what we're about, and we feel good about that."
A place to follow the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Midwest League, Minor League baseball, Major League Baseball, and everything in between in that order.
