You may have seen a name in the Alumni Report today that you have not seen in awhile.

Carlos Maldonado homered for the Nationals in their 14-4 win at Houston.

Here is his Baseball-reference page for his minor league stops. He played with the Rattlers in 1997, 1998, and 1999.

And here are his major league stops.

That homer on Monday was his first MLB homer since September 20, 2007 at San Diego. when he was with the Pirates.

Interesting - to me at least - is that his first MLB home run was hit on September 16, 2007 at Houston.

Before this season, his last game in the big leagues was with the Pirates on September 30, 2007. He just got the call up from Syracuse and played on May 27, 2010.
