Brewers System Report: Games of June 30, 2010


MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 35-43; National League Central): The Brewers lost 5-1 to the Astros at Miller Park. Milwaukee had seven hits, but went 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 43-36; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds were off on Wednesday.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 37-42 overall; 4-5 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars swept a doubleheader from Chattanooga. In game one, a 1-0 win, Amaury Rivas pitched a complete game four-hitter for the victory. In game two, a 5-4 win, Huntsville scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to get the sweep.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 30-46; 3-4 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Daytona 5-3. Scott Krieger drove in a pair of runs. Trey Watten (’09) pitched three scoreless innings in relief for the win. Andre Lamontagne (’10) got the save with a scoreless ninth.

HELENA (Rookie: 8-2; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 4-3 to Billings. Helena led 2-1 until the Mustangs scored three runs in the top of the seventh.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 8-0; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers beat the Dodgers 11-4.
