If Sunday's Game Were a Movie...

it would be:

Look, I don't want to be mean or snarky comparing Sunday's game to a circus, but how can you not when something like this happens with the following to set it up: Runners at first and third. No outs. Rattlers down 4-3 in the top of the fifth.

Double play, Christopher Minaker caught stealing home, Michael Saunders caught stealing 2nd, third baseman Dallas Morris to second baseman Marco Albano to pitcher Robert Mosebach to first baseman Josh Davies to shortstop Hainley Statia to catcher Brett Martinez to third baseman Dallas Morris.

That doesn't capture the sheer entertainment value. Plus, it's wrong. The Scoring on the play actually went 1- (Saunders picked off on a fake to third and fake to first move) 3- (Ball thrown away here and Minaker breaks for the plate, but slips and falls half way to the plate) 6- (Throw to the plate and Minaker in a rundown with Saunders breaking for second here) 2-5(Minaker out here)-4 (Saunders out here as he rounded second base too far).

Yep, every Kernel on the infield got to touch the ball in that little play.

4-game series with Peoria starting Monday night at Fox Cities Stadium. See you there.
