Seattle (MAJ: 65-73; 4th AL West): Seattle beat Detroit 4-3. Adrian Beltre knocked in a pair of runs. Joel Pineiro (WI '98) pitched 3-2/3 innings of scoreless relief with four strikeouts for the win. JJ Putz (WI '00) picked up save number thirty by closing out the Tigers.
Everett (Short Season-A – 30-45; 4th Northwest League West Division): The AquaSox lost 6-4 at Vancouver. Bryan Sabatella (WI '06) had a pair of hits and a pair of RBI, but Everett lost their fourth straight. Leury Bonilla hit his seventh home run of the season for the Sox.
