Mariner System Report (Games of 6/1)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 21-36 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 7-5 to the Tigers. Detroit broke a 3-3 tie with four runs in the top of the ninth inning off JJ Putz (’00).

TACOMA (AAA: 27-29, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 6-4 to Salt Lake. Joe Woerman (’06) allowed two runs on two hits and five walks in four innings for the loss. Bryan LaHair (’04) had three hits and two RBI for Tacoma.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 34-23, 2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 9-5 to Tennessee. The Smokies scored three runs in the eighth and three runs in the ninth to erase a 4-3 West Tennessee lead. Johan Limonta (’06) drove in a pair of runs for West Tennessee.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 26-31, 3rd California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 8-5 at Modesto. Greg Halman (’07) hit his sixteenth homer of the season and added a pair of doubles for High Desert. But, it wasn't enough.
