A quick google search reveals this:
It was 12:47 a.m. when Fryer went down swinging. The Midwest League curfew is 12:50. No inning can start after that. That is part of a much longer and more interesting story about a race against the clock in Burlington, Iowa.
The Bees and Wizards were locked in a scoreless battle in the second game, racing against time, knowing one run would probably win this thing, the Wizards knowing one hit erases their unwanted spot in history, both knowing that the clock that also burned in red numbers in right–center field was telling them the Midwest League curfew would soon end this night if they didn't.
