Mariner System Report (Games of 6/23)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 27-49 4th American League West): The Mariners won 5-2 over the Mets at New York. Felix Hernandez (’03) hit a grand slam for the M’s, but left the game with an injury after 4-2/3 innings and did not receive the victory.

TACOMA (AAA: 39-38, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 8-5 to Portland. Rob Johnson (’05) homered and drove in a pair of runs for the Rainiers.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 42-32, 3-3 T-2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx were off on Monday.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 36-40, 4-2 second half T-1st California League South Division): The Mavericks were off on Monday.

EVERETT (Short Season-A: 3-4, T-2nd Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox lost 7-4 to Boise. Walter Suriel (’08) took the loss.

PULASKI (Rookie: 4-3, 2nd Appalachian League East Division): The M’s lost 6-1 at Burlington.

PEORIA (Rookie: 0-2, T-7th Arizona League): The AZL M’s lost 5-4 in eleven innings to the Angels.
