Mariner System Report (Games of 6/27)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 29-50 4th American League West): The Mariners beat San Diego 5-2. Adrian Beltre drove in three runs and Jarrod Washburn allowed two runs over 7-2/3 innings for Seattle.

TACOMA (AAA: 41-39, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 9-5 to Salt Lake. Tacoma scored three runs in the first inning, but could not hold the lead.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 44-36, 3-7 5th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 12-6 to Tennessee. Greg Halman (’07) and Adam Moore (’06) homered for West Tennessee, but it wasn't enough.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 36-42, 4-4 second half 3rd California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 7-6 at Rancho Cucamonga. Danny Carroll (’08) drove in three runs to help the Mavs take a 6-3 lead. But, the Quakes scored three in the seventh to tie and one in the eighth to win.

EVERETT (Short Season-A: 4-7, 3rd Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox lost 6-5 at Salem-Keizer. Everett tied the game with a run in the top of the ninth, but the Volcanoes scored a run in the bottom of the ninth to win.

PULASKI (Rookie: 6-5, 2nd Appalachian League East Division): The M’s lost 6-4 at Kingsport. Pulaski scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning to put a scare into the Mets.

PEORIA (Rookie: 3-2, T-1st Arizona League): The AZL M’s beat the Royals 3-2 in ten innings.
