RH JAKE WILD: Seattle’s 26th round pick out of the University of the Pacific in the 2007 draft.
LAST WIN: Wild picked up the win with a scoreless, hitless inning of relief against the Quad Cities River Bandits on June 5. Wild entered a 5-5 game in the top of the tenth and picked up the victory when Gavin Dickey hit a game-winning homer in the bottom of the tenth in Wisconsin’s 4-3 win.
LAST START: Wild got a no decision at Cedar Rapids on June 23 in a 4-2 Rattler win in 15 innings. Wild allowed two runs on four hits over six innings with three walks and five strikeouts. He left the game with the score tied 2-2 heading into the seventh inning.
VS. BURLINGTON: Wild has made two relief appearances against the Bees this season. He has tossed a total of 4-1/3 scoreless innings with one walk, three hits allowed, and four strikeouts.
VS. ROYALS: Wild faced the Royals Arizona League affiliate four times (one start) in 2007. He was 1-0 with a save in those games against the Surprise Royals and did not allow a run while striking out 13 over 8-1/3 innings.
