Rattler History...Since 2000

Here is how the Rattlers have fared on June 29...since 2000

2000: The Rattlers won 13-4 over South Bend. Justin Leone, Oscar Ramirez, and Sheldon Fulse drove in two runs a piece. Matt Thornton pitched five scoreless innings for the win. Rattler records after this game: 6-2, 44-32

2001: The Rattlers won 9-3 at Burlington. Jake Daubert was 4-for-6 with three RBI. Wisconsin went up 4-0 with four first inning runs. Kevin Olore made the lead stand as he allowed three runs over seven innings. Rattler records after this game: 8-1, 50-27

2002: The Rattlers beat Burlington 5-0 at home. Emiliano Fruto and Ryan Ketchner combined on the two hit shutout. Fruto allowed a second inning hit to Odannis Ayala in the second inning; Ketchner allowed an eighth inning single to James Shanks. Greg Dobbs hit a two-run homer to put the game away. This win ended a 12 game losing streak for Wisconsin. Rattler records after this game: 1-8, 30-48

2003: The Rattlers lost 1-0 at Clinton. TA Fulmer tossed an eight inning complete game with 10 strikeouts, but took the loss. Nate Gold walked in the second inning and scored on a double and an error. LumberKing pitchers Nick Massett and Kameron Loe combined on the six-hit shutout. Rattler records after this game: 2-9, 40-37

2004: The Rattlers shutout Dayton 6-0 at home. Second day in a row with the same score. Jason Mackintosh struck out ten over seven innings for the win. Adam Jones had three RBI and Wladimir Balentien had three hits, including a homer, for the win. Rattler records after this game: 3-3, 34-41

2005: The Rattlers lost 9-3 at Quad Cities. Dennis Dove tossed a complete game for the win. Aaron Jensen allowed nine runs on seven hits over 2-2/3 innings for the loss. Rattler records after this game: 1-6, 40-37

2006: The Rattlers lost 4-1 at West Michigan. Paul Fagan protected a 1-0 lead until the seventh. Luis Valbuena and Robby Hudson had back-to-back doubles in the first inning for the lead. The Whitecaps tied the game on a two-out RBI triple by Jeramy Laster in the seventh. West Michigan scored three times off Fagan in the eighth. Rattler record after this game: 2-6, 29-49

2007: The Rattlers lost 8-0 at Quad Cities. Wisconsin had four hits. The SWING scored four runs in the second and four more in the fourth. Rattler record after this game: 4-5, 26-51

A 4-4 is a .500 record. But, four shutouts in eight games on 6/29...since 2000? Watch out for today's game, I guess.
