SEATTLE (MAJ: 42-69 4th American League West): The Mariners beat Baltimore 8-4. Raul Ibanez (Foxes, ’94) had a pair of hits and three RBI. JJ Putz (’00) pitched 1-1/3 scoreless innings for the win.
TACOMA (AAA: 60-55, T-2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers beat Albuquerque 5-3. Ryan Feierabend (’04) allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits over seven innings for his seventh win. Oswaldo Navarro (’05) drove in a pair of runs for Tacoma.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 58-54, 17-25 4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Montgomery 6-5 in ten innings. Johan Limonta (’06) homered and drove in three runs for West Tennessee. Shawn Kelley (’08) pitched three scoreless innings for the win as the Diamond Jaxx ended the Biscuits winning streak at ten games.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 51-62, 19-24 second half 5th California League South Division): The Mavericks won 11-6 at Inland Empire. Kevin Reynolds (’08) had three hits and drove in two runs for High Desert. The Mavericks scored seven times in the fourth inning to grab a big lead and held on for the sweep of the 66ers.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 17-29, 4th Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox lost 6-5 to Vancouver. The Canadians scored a run in the seventh and a run in the ninth for the win.
PULASKI (Rookie: 27-18, 1st Appalachian League East Division): The M’s lost 9-6 to Danville.
PEORIA (Rookie: 13-22, 4-3 T-4th Arizona League): The AZL M’s beat the Rangers 7-3.
