We’ve got the rest of the order to pick up the slack or a certain individual to pick up the slack.

@Peoria 6, South Bend 1: Peoria fifth. Luis Bautista opened the frame with a single, and one out later Brandon Guyer hit his 10th homer of the season over the left-field fence to put the Chiefs ahead for good, 2-1.

Clinton 4, @Cedar Rapids 2: Clinton starter Blake Beavan (8-6) allowed a run on three hits, walked one and struck out four over five innings for the win. Adalberto Flores struck out two over 1.2 innings for his eleventh save of the season.
