BaseballAmerica.com has some transactions today and not the good kind.

First here are moves involving non-Seattle Mariner teams:

Baseball America has a comment about those releases.

Reading between the lines, it doesn’t seem like the Mariners’ new front office was overly enthused with the franchise’s ’07 draft haul, releasing four righthanders from that class, including Seattle’s ninth- through 11th-round selections. The full list: Brown (ninth), Renaud (10th), Dunbar (11th and drafted as a catcher) and Martinez (29th).
