Looks like he made it

Shawn Kelley, that is. Here is the article from The Leaf-Chronicle. Because the papers that covered you in college are always the best.
Former Austin Peay starting pitcher Shawn Kelley has landed on the Seattle Mariners opening-day roster, the Tacoma News Tribune reported, Thursday, and Kelley verified by a phone call the same afternoon.

Kelley, a 2007 APSU graduate, was a non-roster invitee to spring training and steadily gained acclaim from Seattle Mariners manager Don Wakamatsu. He made 12 appearances in the Cactus League, posting two saves in three opportunities and finishing with 12 strikeouts in 13 innings while allowing only one walk.
Kelley matches the similar rise of Mark Lowe. Lowe was a Rattler in 2005 and by the end of 2006 was pitching for Seattle. Kelley started last season with the Rattlers and moved quickly through the system. Now, he's on the Seattle Opening Day roster. But, to the people of Clarksville, Tennessee Shawn Kelley is best remembered for what? Anyone? Anyone?
Kelley will most be remembered for his epic 10-inning appearance in the opening round of the 2007 NCAA Baseball Championship. Squaring off against Vanderbilt and starter David Price – the No. 1 pick in the 2007 draft – Kelley single-handedly kept Austin Peay in the game, allowing one run on five hits to the nation’s No. 1 squad. He struck out a season-high nine batters in those 10 innings and ran his streak of innings without a walk to 29 before leaving with the game tied 1-1 going into the 11th inning. Kelley was named to the Nashville Region all-tournament team for that performance.
You didn't know that?
