@Lansing 11, Cedar Rapids 7: A.J. Jimenez went 3-for-4 Wednesday as the Lansing Lugnuts used an eight-run second inning on their way to an 11-7 victory over the Cedar Rapids Kernels at Oldsmobile Park.

@Fort Wayne 3, Clinton 1: Catcher Robert Lara also homered in support of five Fort Wayne pitchers who combined for a three-hitter. The TinCaps (16-3, 61-28 overall) have won 15 consecutive home games.

Beloit 9 @Burlington 3: The hits were there for the Burlington Bees Wednesday night. The big hit, the timely hit, was not.
