Brewers System Report: Games of May 4, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 11-15; National League Central): The Brewers beat the Dodgers in Los Angeles 11-6. Milwaukee scored nine runs in the second inning to build a big lead. Prince Fielder and Greg Zaun homered for the Brewers.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 16-8; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 6-2 at Round Rock. The Express scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to break open a 2-1 game.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 15-11; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 13-2 to West Tennessee. Michael Pineda (’08) pitched seven shutout innings for the Diamond Jaxx, allowed four hits, and struck out 11 for the win.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 10-15 overall; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 8-6 to Clearwater. The Threshers scored eight runs in the top of the first inning and held on for the win.
