Chuck Symeon makes his Foxes debut and tosses a complete game. He allowed a run on seven hits, walked five, and struck out 11.

The Foxes offense scored four runs in the bottom of the third inning to snap a 1-1 tie.

Fox Cities is back at .500 (7-7) and in a tie for 4th place, 2.5 games behind Burlington and Sioux City.

The Appleton Foxes took a page from their parent Chicago White Sox's book Wednesday night and won ugly, beating the Burlington Rangers 10-5.

The Foxes committed four errors and blew leads of 4-0 and 5-2 but still managed to come out on top.

Jim Winters had a three-run triple in the first inning for the Foxes. Chris Jefts, struggled, but pitched eight innings for the win. Jefts allowed five runs, but only one was earned.

The Foxes are 21-12 and just 2.5 games behind first place Madison in the MWL Northern Division.
