Mariner System Report (Games of 7/12)

Seattle (MAJ: 43-46; 4th AL West): Seattle was off yesterday.

Tacoma (AAA – 50-38; 2nd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma was off yesterday.

San Antonio (AA – 38-50; 11-9 second half 2nd Texas League South Division): San Antonio beat Arkansas 6-5. Mike Wilson had three hits, including a home run and a ninth inning RBI single to break a 5-5 tie. Ryan Rowland-Smith (WI ’03) pitched 2-2/3 scoreless innings of relief with five strikeouts for the win.

Inland Empire (High-A – 48-41, 9-10 second half; 3rd California League South Division): Inland Empire lost 16-1 to Rancho Cucamonga. Aaron Jensen (WI ’05) allowed nine runs on ten hits over three innings for the loss. The offense had only four hits in the game.

Everett (Short Season-A – 13-10; 3rd Northwest League West Division): Everett beat Spokane 5-4. Chris Minaker was 3-for-5 with two RBI for the Sox. Natividad Dilone got the win and Doug Fister picked up the save.

AZL M’s (Rookie – 9-8; 4th Arizona League): The Mariners lost 13-6 to the Padres.
