THE SEASON SO FAR: The Chiefs are 14-29 and in last place in the Western Division.

WHO'S HOT: OFs Cliff Anderson and Dylan Johnston ranked fourth and tied for seventh, respectively, among league batting leaders last week. Anderson batted .429 (12-for-28) with a home run and two RBIs while Johnston hit .385 (10-for-26) with two home runs and four RBIs. On the season, Anderson is hitting .262 (34-for-130) with seven doubles, a triple, three home runs and 10 RBIs in 38 games. Johnston is batting .243 (27-for-111) with six doubles, five home runs and 14 RBIs in 32 games.

WHO'S NOT: SS/2B Nate Samson is batting a mere .194 (7-for-36) over his last nine games, lowering his season average to .236 (34-for-144) with 11 errors in 40 games.

ROSTER MOVES: A series of roster moves were made on Friday as IFs Marwin Gonzalez and Jose Made, along with OF Kyler Burke, returned to extended Spring Training in Mesa, Arizona. Taking their places on the roster were OF Brandon Guyer, IF Jeffery Rea and C/1B Luis Bautista.
