Rattler History...Since 2000

Here is how the Timber Rattlers have done on May 21...since 2000:

(CORRECTED: I...I....you're never going to believe this...I put the game for May 23 in this post for May 21, 2003 & the game for May 22 in for May 21, 2004. Changed now. The summary at the end has been changed as well.)

2000: The Rattlers beat West Michigan 6-3. Shawn McCorkle homered and drove in three runs. Rafael Soriano pitched seven shutout innings and allowed four hits with seven strikeouts. Rattler record after this game: 21-20

2001: The Rattler game with Cedar Rapids at home was rained out. Rattler record on this date: 26-17

2002: The Rattlers beat Peoria 11-6 in Grand Chute. The Rattlers scored five times in the sixth inning and collected 15 hits in the game. Guillermo "Bill" Martinez drove in two runs for the Rattlers. Rattler record after this game: 21-23

2003: The Rattlers had an off day. Rattler record on this day: 24-19

2004: West Michigan beat the Rattlers 6-2. Nothing of note happened in this game. Rattler record after this game: 17-24

2005: Clinton beat the Rattlers 4-2. Jim Fasano hit welcomed Eric O'Flaherty to the game in the eighth inning with a two-run homer to break a 2-2 tie. Chad Fillinger took the loss. Rattler record after this game: 23-19

2006: The Rattlers beat Burlington 4-3 in eleven innings in Grand Chute. Rob Garth hit a pinch-hit homer to lead off the bottom of the 11th inning to end the game. Rattler record after this game: 18-25

2007: The Rattlers beat Kane County 1-0. Greg Halman homered. Kyle Parker and Andrew Barb combined on a three-hitter. Rattler record after this game: 12-29

A 4-2 record with some close wins and a Bill Martinez appearance makes this a pretty good day in Rattler history...since 2000.
