DOWN IN VENEZUELA: Ramirez made his professional debut pitching for the Aguirre in the Venezuelan Summer League in 2006. He went 5-1 with a 1.66ERA in 14 games (13 starts)
ON TO EVERETT: Ramirez made 15 starts for Seattle’s Northwest League affiliate in 2007. He was 3-7 with a 4.30 ERA for the AquaSox.
STINGY: Ramirez allowed three or fewer earned runs in 12 of those fifteen starts.
LAST START: Ramirez picked up the win at Peoria on May 25. He allowed one run on four hits with six strikeouts and walked one.
ON THE ROAD: Ramirez is 1-2 with an ERA of 3.63 in four starts on the road this season. He has struck out 18 and walked four over 22.1 innings pitched.
