Mariner System Report (Games of 6/10)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 23-42 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 3-1 at Toronto. Brad Wilkerson homered in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie. Raul Ibanez (Foxes, ’94) had one of Seattle’s five hits off Dustin McGowan, who tossed a complete game victory.

TACOMA (AAA: 31-33, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 7-4 at Salt Lake. Rob Johnson (’05) drove in two runs for Tacoma, but the Bees scored four times in the first inning off Robert Rohrbaugh (’05).

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 38-27, 2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx were off on Tuesday.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 28-37, T-3rd California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Rancho Cucamonga 17-7. Greg Halman (’07) hit a pair of homers – giving him 19 on the season – and drove in three runs for the Mavs. Carlos Triunfel (’07) hit his first professional homer for High Desert.
