Midwest League Action (Games of 6/7)

June 7 scoreboard.

Quad Cities 6 @ Wisconsin 1: Suspended...after three innings.

@Great Lakes 7, West Michigan 6: Got this one in.
West Michigan 7, Great Lakes 0: Suspended...in the fifth inning

@Kane County 5, Beloit 4 (11 innings): What a game! What an odd finish!
After taking a first-inning lead on a balk with Greg Dowling on third, Adam Klein made contact with Snappers catcher Greg Yersich's glove before fouling off a 2-2 pitch with Dusty Napoleon on third for a walk-off catcher's interference call in the bottom of the 10th inning.
What a large picture of an opposing batter they ave at the top of the story, too!

South Bend 3, @Dayton 2: Dayton manager Donnie Scott wasn't happy.
"It's all about attitude. Some attitudes have got to change around here. We're going through the motions and there is not enough life in that dugout or on the field. That's part of growing up and developing," said Scott. "You can say what you want about players and which guys you've got and which guys you don't have, but attitude for me is everything."
Fort Wayne 6, @Lansing 5: Suspended...with they tying run at first in the bottom of the ninth....and a first place tie for the Wizards if they hold on.

@Peoria 7, Clinton 5: Five losses in a row for the mighty, mighty L-kings?

@Cedar Rapids 5, Burlington 1: Kernels get solid pitching.
