Here is how the Rattlers have fared on June 18...since 2000:
The Rattlers beat Michigan 7-1 at home to win the final game of the first half. Ryan Christianson homered and Rafael Soriano allowed one run over seven innings with seven walks and six strikeouts for the win. For some reason that escapes me now, Michigan protested the game. Rattler record after this game: 38-30
The Timber Rattlers were off for the Midwest League All-Star break.
The Timber Rattlers were off for the 2002 Midwest League All-Star game.
The Timber Rattlers were off for the Midwest League All-Star break.
The Rattlers lost 10-3 at Clinton. Nibaldo Acosta allowed nine runs on ten hits and five walks over five innings. Edinson Volquez allowed three runs in five innings for the win. Rattler record after this game: 30-37
The Rattlers lost 2-1 at Beloit. Jeremy Pickrel and David Winfree hit solo homers off Jason Snyder for the only Beloit runs. Sebastien Boucher knocked in the only Rattler run with a double in the eighth. Rattler record after this game: 38-30
The Rattlers 6-0 at Quad Cities in the final game of the first half. Wisconsin managed three hits off Cory Meacham in a game that took 1:48 to play. Randy Roth hit a three-run homer in the eighth to put the game away. Rattler record after this game: 27-43
The Rattlers were off for the Midwest League All-Star Break.
A 1-3 record. A meh kind of day for the Rattlers...since 2000.
