A few things to mark on your calendar

#1 Palermo's Pizza Fan Fest is April 7. Complete details here.

Highlights:
- FREE Palermo's pizza, hot dog, soda, & popcorn

- FREE stadium tours

- Preview the players as the Timber Rattlers practice on-field prior to the scrimmage

- Five-inning scrimmage against UW-Oshkosh begins at 3 p.m.

- Player autograph session following scrimmage
Gates open at Noon. The event ends at 6:00pm. It should also be mentioned that it's FREE admission to Fan Fest, too. FREE!

#2: Next week at this time, I will be completely dehydrated from all the flop sweat, stale jokes, and bad questions during the Leadoff Experience.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are proud to welcome Gord Ash, Vice-President - Assistant General Manager of the Milwaukee Brewers as the featured guest at the 2009 Lead-Off Experience. The event, formerly known as the Welcome Home Banquet, will feature an interactive interview program hosted by Rattlers radio play-by-play announcer Chris Mehring. Fans attending the event will hear from the newest Timber Rattlers players along with the new coaching staff, including field manager Jeff Isom, pitching coach Chris Hook and hitting coach & Appleton resident Matt Erickson.
Some seats are still available. To help save me by asking good questions...because the Q&A session is interactive for the fans...contact the Timber Rattlers at (920)733-4152. Good times. Good times.

Won't be able to make the Lead-off event this year, but I'll definitely be attending Fan Fest, probably with my two nephews. Let's just hope for no snow this year. And, if any company wants to donate gloves this year, it'd be much appreciated if they actually covered our entire fingers. This is Wisconsin.
