Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of June 23, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 37-33; 2nd National League Central): The Brewers lost 7-3 to Minnesota. Jeff Suppan allowed seven runs (four earned) on nine hits over five innings for the loss.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 41-31; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): Nashville lost 1-0 at Albuquerque. Manny Parra allowed a seventh inning run and took the loss.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 40-31 overall, 2-0 second half; 1st Southern League North Division): Huntsville beat Chattanooga 6-1. Jonathan Lucroy homered and drove in four runs for the Stars.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 40-23; 1st Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 2-1 to Dunedin. The Blue Jays scored a run in the top of the eighth inning to break a 1-1 tie.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 1-0; T-1st Pioneer League North Division): Helena beat Missoula 10-5 to open their season on the right foot.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 1-1; T-2nd Arizona League East Division): The Brewers were off on Tuesday.
