MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 38-34; 2nd National League Central): The Brewers lost 6-4 to the Twins. Prince Fielder and Casey McGehee homered for the Brewers, but Milwaukee could not dig their way out of a 4-0 hole.
NASHVILLE (AAA: 42-32; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): Nashville lost 4-0 in a rain-shortened game at Albuquerque. The Sounds managed one hit over six innings.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 41-32 overall, 3-1 second half; T-1st Southern League North Division): Huntsville defeated the Chattanooga 12-1. Jonathon Lucroy homered and drove in four runs for the Stars. Bobby Bramhall allowed one run over 6-1/3 innings for the win. Reliever Zach Braddock hit a grand slam for the Stars.
BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 40-25 overall, 0-1 second half; T-4th Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 7-5 to Palm Beach. The Cardinals rallied from a 5-2 deficit with two runs in the seventh and three in the eighth. Jim Henderson (’09) made his Brevard County debut and allowed two runs in 2/3 of an inning.
HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 2-1; T-1st Pioneer League North Division): Helena beat Missoula 8-1. Josh Price and Derrick McPhearson each had a pair of hits. Price scored three runs and McPhearson two. Damon Krestalude pitched six shutout innings and allowed two hits for the win.
AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 1-3; T-4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers lost 8-5 to the Athletics.
