NASHVILLE (AAA: 42-33; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): Nashville lost 2-0 at Albuquerque. The Sounds had five hits in the game.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 42-32 overall, 4-1 second half; 1st Southern League North Division): Huntsville beat Chattanooga 9-3. Johnny Raburn had three RBI to lead the way for the Stars.
BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 41-25 overall, 1-1 second half; T-4th Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Palm Beach 4-3. Brevard County scored a run in the seventh to tie the game and a run in the ninth to win. Zelous Wheeler drew a bases loaded walk to drive in the winning run.
HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 2-2; T-2nd Pioneer League North Division): Helena lost 4-1 at Missoula in the home opener for the Osprey.
AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 2-3; T-3rd Arizona League East Division): The Brewers beat the Giants 8-1.
