Mariner System Report (Games of 7/10)

Seattle (MAJ: 43-46; 4th AL West): Seattle is off until Thursday.

Tacoma (AAA – 50-38; 2nd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma is off until Thursday.

San Antonio (AA – 37-49; 10-8 second half 2nd Texas League South Division): San Antonio lost 8-6 at Arkansas. The Travelers scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to rally for the win. Marshall Hubbard had a pair of hits, scored a pair of runs, and drove inn three runs for San Antonio.

Inland Empire (High-A – 48-39, 9-8 second half; T-2nd California League South Division): Inland Empire beat Rancho Cucamonga 4-3. Brent Johnson (WI ’05) drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth. The Quakes tied the game with two runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game.

Everett (Short Season-A – 12-10; T-3rd Northwest League West Division): Everett beat Eugene 6-5. Chris Minaker singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth. Curt Ledbetter (WI ’06) homered for the Sox.

AZL M’s (Rookie – 9-6; 4th Arizona League): The Mariners lost 8-2 to the Giants.
