Mariner System Report (Games of 7/6)

Seattle (MAJ: 42-44; 3rd AL West): Seattle had a break on the field Thursday. But, they were busy off the field, trading Eddie Guardado to the Reds.

Tacoma (AAA – 48-37; 2nd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma had their doubleheader at Tucson rained out.

San Antonio (AA – 35-47; 8-6 second half 2nd Texas League South Division): San Antonio lost 1-0 to Midland. Travis Blackley allowed one run over eight innings and took the loss. Mike Wilson (WI ’05) had two of the Mission’s six hits.

Inland Empire (High-A – 46-37, 7-6 second half; 2nd California League South Division): Inland Empire beat Lake Elsinore 5-3. The 66ers scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to break a 3-3 tie. Brian Schweiger (WI ’06) homered in the eighth for the final run of the game.

Everett (Short Season-A – 10-8; 3rd Northwest League West Division): Everett lost 3-0 at Vancouver. The AquaSox had eight hits, but did not score.

AZL M’s (Rookie – 8-4; T-1st Arizona League): The Mariners were off on Thursday.
