Mariner System Report (Games of 4/30)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 13-15 3rd American League West): The Mariners lost 8-3 at Cleveland. Wladimir Balentien (’04) hit a three-run homer in his 2008 debut with the big league club.

TACOMA (AAA: 13-12, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 7-6 to New Orleans. Brian LaHair (’04) homered and Jeremy Reed drove in four runs for Tacoma. Ryan Feierabend (’02) allowed one run over seven innings, but got a no decision as Tacoma couldn't hold the lead.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 17-10, 3rd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Carolina 4-3. West Tennessee scored twice in the eighth to tie the game 2-2. Marshall Hubbard (’05) knocked in two runs with a single in the top of the ninth for the lead. Mumba Rivera (’05) got the save.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 13-14, 2nd California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 11-8 to San Jose. Greg Hallman (’07) homered and drove in two runs and Johan Limonta (’06) also drove in two runs for High Desert. But, the Giants stole nine bases in the game.
