Mariner System Report (Games of 5/15)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 16-26 4th American League West): The Mariners won 4-3 in 12 innings at Texas. Jeff Clement (’05) tripled, drove in a run, and scored a run. JJ Putz (’00) worked two scoreless innings for the win and former Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titan Jarrod Washburn got the save.

TACOMA (AAA: 21-17, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers were off on Wednesday.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 24-16, 2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Birmingham 3-1. Prentice Redmon hit a two-run homer in the top of the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie. Ryan Ketchner (’02) allowed an unearned run over 7-2/3 innings for the win. Craig James (’05) pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 17-23, T-2nd California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 7-2 at Bakersfield. Greg Halman (’07) homered for the third time in two games, but High Desert could not hold an early lead.
