SEATTLE (MAJ: 13-18 3rd American League West): The Mariners lost 6-1 at New York. Felix Hernandez (’03) allowed six runs on 12 hits and took the loss.
TACOMA (AAA: 14-14, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 6-3 to Oklahoma. The RedHawks broke a 3-3 tie with three runs – all on bases loaded walks – in the top of the ninth.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 20-10, 1st Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Carolina 10-9. Michael Saunders (’06) and Marshall Hubbard (’05) each had homers and four RBI for West Tennessee. Ryan Ketchner (’02) got the win despite six walks over 6-2/3 innings.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 15-15, 2nd California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Lake Elsinore 3-1. Chris Minaker (’05) homered for High Desert.
