DOWN IN VENEZUELA: Ramirez made his professional debut pitching for the Aguirre in the Venezuelan Summer League in 2006. He went 5-1 with a 1.66ERA in 14 games (13 starts)
ON TO EVERETT: Ramirez made 15 starts for Seattle’s Northwest League affiliate in 2007. He was 3-7 with a 4.30 ERA for the AquaSox.
STINGY: Ramirez allowed three or fewer earned runs in 12 of those fifteen starts.
LAST START: Ramirez picked up his first win as a Rattler against the Cedar Rapids Kernels on May 10 on Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Ramirez allowed three runs on four hits over 5-2/3 innings in a 7-4 Rattler win. He did not walk a batter and struck out nine.
