Rattler History...Since 2000

Here is how the Timber Rattlers have fared on July 24...since 2000:

2000: The Rattlers lost 3-1 at Michigan. Derek Stanford was one out away from no-hitting the Timber Rattlers. Justin Leone hit a two-out homer in the ninth to break up the no-no and the shutout. Stanford walked three and struck out seven for the win. Rattler records after this game: 18-13 second half, 56-43 overall.

2001: The Rattlers were off. Rattler records on this date: 18-12, 60-39

2002: The Rattlers lost 2-1 at Burlington. Jonathan Guzman broke a 1-1 tie with a single in the bottom of the eighth. Rattler records after this game: 8-23, 38-62

2003: The Rattlers lost 6-5 at Peoria in ten innings. Matt Hagen tied the game with a homer in the top of the ninth. Travis Hanson drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth. Rattler records after this game: 12-21, 50-49

2004: The Rattlers lost 10-2 at Beloit. Wisconsin had just four hits, including a home run by Erick Blakeley. Rattler records after this game: 12-17, 43-55

2005: The Rattlers beat Clinton 13-9 at home. The Rattlers knocked out 18 hits in the win. Rattlers records after this game: 15-15, 54-46

2006: The Rattlers lost 9-4 to South Bend at home. That is about it. Rattler records after this game: 11-20, 38-63

2007: The Rattlers lost 7-5 to South Bend at home. Alex Liddi had three hits and two RBI for Wisconsin. Rattler records after this game: 9-21, 31-67

A record of 1-6. Yep. Crummy day in Rattler history.
